Normally he is on the congratulatory side, but now he is the honored one: Managing Director Oliver Czech has been with Humbaur for 30 years. "I am always delighted when I can honor employees for their long service to the company," says owner and CEO Ulrich Humbaur. "I am particularly pleased about the anniversary of Oliver Czech, who has been working for the company with all his energy for 30 years now. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to him for his tireless commitment and hard work."

There are still companions, colleagues and employees who can remember how Oliver Czech's career at Humbaur began, because long service is always a cause for celebration at the Gersthofen-based manufacturer of trailers and vehicle bodies. In July 1989, Oliver Czech joined the company as a buyer, but then had to step in immediately to replace a driver who had fallen ill. He spends his first day in a 7.5-ton truck and not at his desk. During his career, Oliver Czech has held various positions at HUMBAUR: in addition to purchasing, he also works in spare parts sales, becoming logistics manager in 2006 and head of scheduling in 2007. In 2008, as product manager, he was responsible for the introduction of new trailer models and in 2010 he also took over the logistics management again. Finally, in 2012, he became Managing Director and was appointed Managing Director in 2018.

"My goals are to make Humbaur THE trailer brand in Europe and to have satisfied customers," says Oliver Czech, Managing Director Sales and Marketing. He sees the challenge for the company as continuing to recruit enough qualified employees.
