"Highly valued colleague and friend"
Gebhardt bids farewell to Frank Apel on his retirement
Frank Apel, member of the management board, left the Gebhardt Intralogistics Group on June 30 and is retiring.
In addition to his work as an authorized signatory for national sales, he also expanded the Retrofit & Modernization department within a short period of time. With his departure, the National Sales and After-Sales Service departments for which he was responsible will continue to be managed independently by the department heads. Rolf Eder and Philipp Sigmann will now report directly to the management. Thomas Engelhardt, who is responsible for the Project Management department, will report to Dr. Wilfried Kugler with immediate effect.
"Frank Apel not only brought new ideas and experience to the company when he joined us, but also inspired many employees for the industry as a person. We are losing a highly valued colleague and friend who lived for us and intralogistics. We would like to thank him for his motivation, his commitment and the many great conversations," says Fritz Gebhardt, Managing Director of the Gebhardt Intralogistics Group. "I have had the opportunity to work with a very motivated team at Gebhardt over the last few years, with innovative products and development mechanisms. It makes me proud to have been a part of this progressive development. I would like to thank all employees for this," Frank Apel adds to his farewell words.
