From finance director to boss

Stefan Koch appointed Managing Director at LeasePlan

Dr. Stefan Koch has been appointed as the second Managing Director of LeasePlan Deutschland GmbH, one of the leading car leasing and fleet management providers, alongside Roland Meyer with effect from August 14. The 37-year-old is responsible for Risk Management, Controlling, Accounting & Refinancing, Strategy & Projects and Legal.

Managing Director Dr Stefan Koch is delighted to take on this responsible position: "With my expertise in finance and transformation, I want to contribute to the long-term success of our company in the age of digitalization and new mobility solutions. We want to provide innovative services for our customers - efficient processes, advanced data analysis and digital applications are an important basis for this, and we must continue to work on them."

Dr. Stefan Koch has been with LeasePlan since September 2017 and was most recently responsible for finance and risk issues in the company as Finance Director. Previously, the banking and finance expert worked for the strategy consultancy McKinsey. He succeeds Edwin de Jong, who is leaving LeasePlan Germany after nine years.
