Ex-DAF sales manager Michael Neuenfeldt takes over
New Managing Director for Paccar Financial and Paccar Leasing
With Michael Neuenfeldt, Paccar Financial Deutschland, the financing company of DAF Trucks Germany, has gained a managing director who already knows the company well. Michael Neuenfeldt is also responsible for the fortunes of Paccar Leasing GmbH, based in Dieburg.
He will take over the dual role of Managing Director from Willem van Sambeek, who was appointed Managing Director of DAF Trucks Deutschland GmbH in October of this year (we reported). Neuenfeldt, who was born in the Rhineland, has been contributing his financial and commercial vehicle expertise to the company since December 1, 2019.
The trained banker comes from a haulage family and has both a technical and commercial background. In his almost 18 years of professional experience, he initially gained experience in the financing and financial services sector with leading commercial vehicle brands. He later took on various sales positions with increasing responsibility - including the international used vehicle business for a well-known manufacturer. From April 2016 to March 2019, Michael Neuenfeldt was responsible for DAF's sales business in Germany. In the meantime, he gained experience as sales manager at Aachen-based electric vehicle manufacturer Streetscooter.
The 43-year-old says of his new position: "Paccar Financial is the financing specialist for DAF commercial vehicles. Knowing our customers' business is also the foundation of our success. It is therefore a great advantage that I have already dealt intensively with the needs of our DAF customers in the past," says Neuenfeldt. The simultaneous takeover of the management of Paccar Leasing GmbH (PacLease) and Paccar Financial Deutschland GmbH follows the logic of the company structure: both companies are subsidiaries of Paccar Financial Europe.
