Change of baton at BVL
Christian Stamerjohanns succeeds Ulrike Grünrock-Kern
After almost 15 years, the management of BVL's press and public relations work is passing into new hands. Ulrike Grünrock-Kern's successor is Christian Stamerjohanns.
With immediate effect, Satmerjohanns - supported by his deputy Anja Stubbe - is also the contact person for the media. He reports to the Chairman of the BVL Executive Board, Prof. Thomas Wimmer.
Christian Stamerjohanns was most recently Head of Corporate Communications at photo service provider CEWE in Oldenburg. Prior to that, he held PR management positions at ECE Projektmanagement in Hamburg and at the Ministry of Economics and Labor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Stamerjohanns studied political science in Dresden and Wellington/New Zealand and started his career in press and public relations following a management trainee program at the Gruner + Jahr publishing house in Hamburg.
Ulrike Grünrock-Kern, who has been Head of BVL Communications since August 2006, will be leaving the office at her own request at the end of 2021. "We very much regret Ulrike's decision," says Thomas Wimmer. "With her ideas and her actions, her flair for topics and people, her clarity of thought and precision in formulation and implementation, she has significantly advanced BVL and, beyond that, the communication work in the logistics sector. The BVL Board and management would like to thank her for her dedication and commitment. And we are delighted to have gained a great new colleague for our team in Christian Stamerjohanns."
