Antje Lochmann new Head of Geodis Germany
Geodis announces the appointment of Antje Lochmann as Managing Director of Geodis Freight Forwarding Germany. Effective November 1, 2018, she will lead the company's Freight Forwarding division in Germany from Hamburg.
Antje Lochmann started her career at GEODIS in 2011, where she held management positions in the areas of sales, marketing, key accounts, tender management and sales controlling. Most recently, she was responsible for the Freight Forwarding business in Germany as Director National Sales & Marketing. During her time at GEODIS, she built up a large network through numerous national and international projects.
"Antje Lochmann has known the market, the forwarding industry and our organization for many years. With her great commitment, she has made a significant contribution to the success of the company and will continue to do so in her new role. As part of our leadership program, we at GEODIS focus on the intensive promotion of young managers. I am very proud that we have been able to fill this important position with her and thus with a candidate from our own ranks," commented Thomas Kraus, GEODIS President & CEO North, East and Central Europe, on the appointment.
Antje Lochmann succeeds Matthias Hansen, who was recently appointed Global Product Head of Ocean Freight. In addition to his previous role as Regional Vice President (RVP), EMEA, he also managed GEODIS' Freight Forwarding business in Germany for the past twelve months. He will support Antje Lochmann during a two-month handover of all business units until the end of December 2018.
