Scalable solutions for order picking from Vanderlande
Vanderlande is traveling to Stuttgart with "Evolutions" - the next generation of scalable solutions for fashion and general retail. With this, Vanderlande wants to meet the challenges of today's e-commerce and omni-channel warehouses.
The solutions are called Fastpick, Storepick and Airpick. Storepick, for example, is a continuous, robot-supported storage solution for automated carton picking. Airpick is a sorting solution that combines efficient picking with error-free automated sorting to individual orders in the pocket sorter. Fastpick is a goods-to-person order processing system that uses modern Adapto shuttles to store and retrieve products on a daily basis. The goods-to-person system is supplemented by efficient picking trolleys to enable a cost-effective response to short-term order peaks.
