Customer expectations and requirements for intralogistics are increasing - SSI Schaefer is responding to this and expanding its portfolio to become a supply chain executive. This is also reflected in the strategic organization and orientation of SSI Schaefer: In addition to the numerous logistics professionals, more than 1,000 SSI Schaefer employees worldwide are already working in the field of IT - and the trend is rising. The IT competencies were bundled at the beginning of the year in an IT powerhouse - SSI Schaefer IT Solutions GmbH. With our logistics software Wamas, we ensure the vertical integration of all intralogistics components and thus offer our customers a powerful overall system. With solutions based on SAP EWM, we also enable our customers to map their logistics processes with SAP.
It is crucial to understand the business processes of the individual customer, which is why we focus on holistic and complete consulting - we are companions and consultants throughout the entire project. It is up to us to understand the customer's needs and to map them in our processes. This requires a standardized software solution that can be efficiently implemented individually depending on the industry and customer requirements. As a system provider, SSI Schaefer networks the hardware and software of a logistics concept and offers customers solutions from a single source.
