TST wins top manager from Kühne+Nagel
Karin Eulenbruch, previously Vice President Sales & Business Development Contractlogistics Germany and Switzerland at Kuehne+Nagel, has moved to the logistics service provider TST in the same position as of September 1.
After 12 years at K+N, she is taking on a central management role at the Worms-based logistics company. "I am convinced that I can contribute and develop my strengths and experience in a completely different way in a family-run company than in a traditional corporation," says Eulenbruch, commenting on her start at TST. She is really looking forward to the "company with a heart", says the trained forwarding agent, "TST is my dream company".
With the newly created management position, TST founder and Managing Director Frank Schmidt is strengthening the operational management of his company. "We are facing further important growth steps in the coming years," says Schmidt, who has already been able to announce the acquisition of two well-known new customers this year, Tchibo Coffee Service and Unilever. "I am therefore all the more pleased to welcome Karin Eulenbruch, a proven contract logistics expert, to our company who fits perfectly into our management team."
With 3,000 employees and 75 logistics locations in Germany, Europe and the USA, the Worms-based company founded by Frank Schmidt in 1990 with just one truck is now one of the leading logistics specialists for industry-related logistics processes and fast-moving consumer goods in Germany. "We are slowly growing out of the role of hidden champion," says Schmidt, who now runs TST together with his wife Melanie and Managing Director Marcel Bicking. Customers include well-known companies from the brand and consumer goods industry, the cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors, the automotive supply industry and large retail companies. For this year, TST expects a turnover of more than 380 million euros.
