TST expands management team

The Worms-based logistics company TST is expanding its management team and setting the course for the future with a new organizational structure. Marcel Thomas Bicking, previously an authorized signatory at TST, is expanding the management team, which was previously in the sole hands of TST founder Frank Schmidt and his wife Melanie, with retroactive effect from September 1, 2020. Peter Klein and Bernhard Zenker have been appointed as authorized signatories with sole power of representation as part of the restructuring.

"With this step, we are spreading the responsibilities and decision-making authority in our company across several shoulders," says TST Managing Director Frank Schmidt, who relies on young talent from within the company for management tasks. "We have built up many young talents in our company who will grow into responsible roles in the coming years." In the near future, both subsidiaries will be integrated into the management team.

"I am looking forward to being able to help shape the future path of TST in an important growth phase for the company," commented Bicking on his new role as joint managing director at the logistics company. The trained businessman took his first professional steps at TST in 2008 and successfully completed positions as division manager and authorized signatory. In the meantime, Bicking had already assumed responsibility at management level at TST Automotive GmbH and TST Repacking GmbH.
