disposal and plastics industry. For the current financial year, sht is planning to further expand its logistics activities. "We are not dissatisfied with the results of the past financial year. Nevertheless, we want to improve our performance," says Rui Macedo, Managing Director of sht. This is why the expansion of value-added services is planned for the current year. In addition to pure transportation, for example, warehousing activities will be intensified at several locations. In addition to handling, packing and order picking, the storage and warehousing areas as well as the facilities for ensiling and resilating free-flowing goods will be expanded. The partial and final assembly of industrial goods will also be given greater focus. The expansion of value-added services planned for 2016 will primarily take place at the Stockstadt, Leipzig and Hausach sites. There are also plans to rent logistics space in the Ruhr region or the Hamburg area, for example.
