This means that 111 jobs at ReiCo and ASB in Zossen will be retained. The insolvency administrator Torben Ottmar Herbold (pictured) from Herbold & Horn Insolvenzverwalter KG had continued the business operations without restriction and was supported by enomyc GmbH in the investor process. The insolvency administrator received legal advice from the team led by Andreas Ziegenhagen with colleagues Dr. Benjamin Kurzberg and Judith Schmid from the law firm Dentons Europe LLP.

At the end of November 2019, the Potsdam Local Court ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of ReiCo (6 IN 461/19) and in mid-December 2019 for ASB ((6 IN 563/19) and opened insolvency proceedings for both companies on February 1, 2020.

The company, which specialized in temperature-controlled logistics, plant logistics, groupage and scheduled services, fulfilment and in-house services, had a good order situation. Its assets included more than 50,000m2 of covered storage space and 200 of its own trucks. The managing partners of the DSS companies are Devran and Sinan Sönmez, the sons of Osman Sönmez. Sönmez founded BOS Spedition GmbH in 1991 in the halls of ReiCo; today he employs 100 people at the Berlin headquarters and also specializes in temperature-controlled transport. The managing directors hope that the close cooperation between the family companies will create synergy effects and strengthen their market position.
