The logistics service provider Leusink Logistics filed for insolvency on February 18. Three days later, the insolvency administrator Eef Steentjes from Jusst Advocaten negotiated a deal with the Dutch Huettemann subsidiary Rabelink.

Leusink's employees continued to work as usual during the transition phase. Responsibility for the company's operations was transferred to Rabelink as soon as the contract was signed. The aim of the negotiations was to take on as many Leusink employees and customers as possible. A total of 18 of the 45 employees will continue to work for Rabelink. Rabelink will also continue to operate part of the fleet.

"Leusink's customer structure and service fit in very well with our portfolio," comments Rabelink Managing Director Alwin Schweckhorst on the takeover. Michel van de Molen, spokesman for Leusink Logistics, is also convinced by the deal: "We are delighted to have found a reputable partner so quickly who can take on this difficult task. We are sure that our customers and employees are in good hands with Rabelink."
