Q Logistics changes its management

Vienna, 08.11.2017 - Q Logistics, the joint venture between ÖBB and Quehenberger Logistics, is strengthening and restructuring its management one year after its launch. The two owners' spokespersons, Christian Fürstaller for Quehenberger Logistics and Josef Halbmayr for ÖBB, announced that two new managing directors have been appointed. Anna-Theresa Korbutt, previously ÖBB, and Josef Berner, previously one of five regional managers at Q Logistics, were appointed interim managing directors on November 2.
Korbutt, previously Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Development at ÖBB-Holding AG, has 12 years of relevant professional experience in various areas of the rail sector in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and will be appointed interim Head of Human Resources, Legal, Strategy, Finance, Processes and Systems. Josef Berner, currently branch manager for the central region of Q-Logistics GmbH, will take over the areas of sales, production, warehousing and facility management. He brings many years of experience from Schachinger, Kühne & Nagel and Quehenberger, among others, to the management team.
Two very different companies had to be merged in terms of their culture and structures. Operationally, this created Austria's largest general cargo network with 11 regional hubs and numerous logistics locations.
