A total of 12,600 square meters of logistics space, including 1,100 square meters of office space, will be built on the approximately 82-hectare site in Schleswig-Holstein by September 2020. The property comprises a hall with a clear height of ten meters and is designed for complex e-commerce processes and last-mile solutions according to Amazon's ideas. This includes around ten gates for trucks and twelve additional gates for transporting parcels to the vans.

Sönke Kewitz, Managing Director of P3 Germany: "Hamburg remains one of the most important trading centers in Germany. Our new property in the Hamburg area will significantly strengthen our client's logistics network. As a long-term owner and developer of logistics real estate, P3 continues to be on the lookout for properties in such top locations. Northern Germany plays a decisive role in our growth strategy. That is why we opened our second German location in Hamburg last year."

The Amazon distribution center in Bad Oldesloe will be equipped for efficient parcel delivery right up to the last mile in order to meet all modern requirements. In accordance with the DGNB Gold Standard, the P3 property is also designed to be environmentally friendly and features, for example, energy-saving LED lighting and energy-efficient thermal insulation. P3 has concluded a long-term lease agreement with Amazon. CBRE Germany was responsible for brokering the deal between P3 and the online mail order company.
