New hazardous materials warehouse for Industriepark Höchst

Höchst, 22.06.2018 - Infraserv Höchst is building a new hazardous materials storage facility at Industriepark Höchst. The Industriepark Höchst operating company is investing EUR 27 million in the storage facility in the southern part of the site. The warehouse will be operated by Infraserv Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Infraserv Höchst that provides logistics services at Industriepark Höchst and three other sites for customers primarily in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Construction is scheduled to begin next year. The new hazardous materials warehouse will make operations much more efficient and economical and will also meet the highest safety standards.

"Industriepark Höchst needs an efficient hazardous materials storage facility, which is an important part of the logistics infrastructure for such a large, dynamic site," emphasized Jürgen Vormann, CEO of Infraserv Höchst.

Around 90 companies are located at Industriepark Höchst, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, basic and specialty chemicals. Around 22,000 people are employed at the industrial park. mm
