Timocom verification seal for audited transport companies
In future, Timocom would also like to support its customers in their commercial due diligence by regularly checking documents such as licenses and proof of insurance: With the new Business Partner Check, transport companies can have their company documents checked quickly and easily and receive a verification seal in the Timocom marketplace.
Timocom has developed the Business Partner Check to support industrial and commercial companies as well as freight forwarders and dispatchers in initiating business and subsequently selecting business partners. This has been implemented and in use in the digital marketplace for road freight transport since the beginning of the year.
More secure collaboration
How it works: With the help of the Business Partner Check, in many cases transport companies can be quickly checked with a glance at the company profile of the transport service provider at Timocom, without having to request or send documents individually. If the relevant documents are stored and valid, business partners can recognize this by the green seal in the marketplace. This should make working with new and sometimes unknown business partners on the freight exchange safer and more convenient.
Testing using AI software and interfaces
The 'Verified Company' seal of approval is intended to ensure greater transparency and trust, as the official documents stored are regularly checked for authenticity and validity using AI software and interfaces.
"The Business Partner Check automates and therefore speeds up the process of checking potential business partners," says Gunnar Gburek, Head of Business Affairs at Timocom. "Transparency and trust are very important in the transport industry. In addition, companies want more support in the safe selection of contractors. The Verified Company seal is an important contribution to this."
