New momentum for last mile logistics
The challenges in last-mile logistics have been steadily increasing for years. One of the consequences: the market for transport service providers in this segment is shrinking continuously, and those that are still active can only operate selectively and not comprehensively.
Last Mile Optimizer, or LMO for short, was founded to counter this development. It incorporates the German retail network of logistics service provider Logwin, which was taken over by owner and Managing Director Ronny Deußen in 2023. The management team is completed by Philipp Glöckner, who previously worked as a logistics manager at the retailer Tchibo.
LMO's strength lies in consolidating the flow of goods from various sectors, from textile retail to bike stores, beauty products, electrical goods and heating technology. In the coming years, LMO plans to expand its network to Austria and Switzerland.
