Partnership agreed
Logistics Hall of Fame and Logistics Alliance Germany cooperate
The Logistic Hall of Fame and the Logistic Alliance Germany have agreed on a partnership. The virtual logistics hall of fame and the PPP project of the Federal Ministry of Transport want to set a joint example for the efficiency and innovative strength of logistics.
The Logistics Alliance Germany is now a member of the large circle of supporters of the Logistics Hall of Fame. At the same time, the Logistics Hall of Fame will in future be one of the supporters of the work of the Logistics Alliance Germany. Both partners want to use their large network and the international reputation of the Logistics Hall of Fame to present the performance of Germany as a logistics location worldwide, to contribute to the competitiveness of the entire logistics industry and to further improve the image of logistics.
The Logistics Alliance Germany is a public-private partnership project (PPP) of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) and the German logistics industry, which has set itself the goal of marketing Germany as a logistics location outside of Europe under the motto "Logistics made in Germany". The Logistics Hall of Fame documents outstanding achievements in logistics, honors its movers and shakers and initiates innovations.
The finalists for induction into the 2020 Logistics Hall of Fame have already been announced. The Logistics Hall of Fame Council recently nominated ten personalities for induction into the Hall of Fame and four candidates for the "Traton Logistics Leader of the Year" award. Previously, 22 valid nominations had been received from Germany, Europe and around the world. The lists of candidates for both awards are traditionally secret and are not published in advance.
