Start of training
L.I.T. Group welcomes 29 career starters
29 trainees are starting their careers at L.I.T. AG. The new recruits will start their training at one of the 33 L.I.T. locations in Germany.
"This year we have more new trainees than ever before. It has proven that we put a lot of heart and soul into our training program as well as into making contact with young people," says Astrid Jonat, Head of Training at L.I.T. AG. Last year, the company was awarded the "TOP Training Company" seal of approval by the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce for its committed training program.
The new trainees first came together for two days in Brake on August 1 to kick off their careers. The aim is to familiarize the new recruits with the company's own processes and programs and to enable the trainees to network across locations. Each career starter is assigned a personal mentor from the second year of training before the apprenticeship begins. "It makes it much easier for our trainees to get started if they have a contact person who was in the same situation not so long ago as they are now," says Jonat.
Not only the new trainees, but also the 23 junior employees who successfully completed their training at L.I.T. in 2019 are about to take an important step in their careers. The majority of them will remain with the logistics specialist. "We reward good performance, which is why the chances of being taken on by us are very good," says Jonat
