Climate protection
Harder logistics supports "Alliance for Development and Climate"
Climate protection, social responsibility and economy are not mutually exclusive. One example of this is the "Alliance for Development and Climate", of which the Neu-Ulm-based relocation company Harder logistics has been a supporter since January 2020.
The aim of this nationwide initiative with almost 500 supporters is to avoid, reduce and offset CO2 emissions through voluntary engagement in the private sector and to promote climate protection projects in emerging and developing countries. The Alliance was initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Television presenter Nina Ruge was recently appointed as the official ambassador.
Marcello Danieli, Managing Partner of Harder logistics, sees it as his corporate responsibility to incorporate climate protection into the economic development of his company. "In the long term, we are aiming to become climate-neutral or even climate-positive as a supporter and are setting out on a corresponding path," confirms Danieli.
Sustainability and climate protection have long been practiced at Harder logistics in many areas through a conscious and resource-conserving approach to the environment. For example, the company has been using only green electricity for its site in Neu-Ulm for several years. The vehicle fleet is state of the art and the vehicles are Euro 5 or higher emission class vehicles. Harder logistics already operates other equipment in a pollutant-neutral manner. This includes electric vehicles, electric forklifts, electrically powered outdoor elevators and an electric industrial crane that can lift weights of up to 20 tons.
