DPDgroup on course for success

In 2019, the international DPDgroup continued its growth trajectory and increased its revenue by 6.7% year-on-year to 7.8 billion euros. The global transport volume remained stable at 1.3 billion parcels. The B2C segment in Europe recorded a growth rate of nine percent.

On Cyber Monday alone, DPDgroup delivered 9.3 million parcels across Europe - a new record. With an annual turnover of 7.8 billion euros, the company further expanded its position as the leading parcel service provider in Europe. The increase in revenue compared to 2018 amounted to 6.7 percent.

In 2019, activities in the B2C sector were again crucial to the growth trajectory, with almost 50% of the order volume coming from this segment. DPDgroup relies on a hybrid B2B-B2C network to satisfy both sides.

Yves Delmas, Executive Vice President, COO Europe, comments: "For us, it's not just about maximizing parcel volumes. As the market leader, we see it as our clear responsibility to pioneer a balanced and fair pricing policy." DPDgroup not only agreed rate increases with its customers, but also improved its own services at the same time.
