DB Schenker opens warehouse for Daimler Truck in Australia
Daimler Truck has commissioned DB Schenker to operate its new 19,000 square meter warehouse in Australia with more than 40,000 different spare parts for trucks and buses. The new warehouse is located approximately 23 kilometers from Melbourne city center and 20 kilometers from Tullamarine Airport. It is intended to strengthen Daimler Truck's delivery capability throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Daimler Truck Australia Pacific offers a wide range of class-leading vehicles covering every segment of the Australian road freight industry with Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso trucks and Fuso buses.

The warehouse has more than 50,000 individual bays, including a 4,000 square meter mezzanine floor and bespoke racking for the storage of large truck cabs. The building has been awarded the Australian five star Green Star rating. Its features include electric vehicle charging stations and LED lighting with motion control throughout the facility.
