Cargonexx and Ludwig Meyer celebrate Eco Performance Award 2018

Ratingen/Düsseldorf, 25.06.2018 - On June 20, the EPA expert jury of renowned industry representatives presented Ludwig Meyer GmbH & Co. KG and Cargonexx GmbH with the Eco Performance Award 2018 for their pioneering role in terms of sustainability.

The Eco Performance Award is sponsored by DKV Euro Service and its premium partners Knorr Bremse and PTV Group and is scientifically supported by the Chair of Logistics Management at the University of St.Gallen.

In the "established companies" category, Ludwig Meyer GmbH & Co. KG was recognized for its work in the field of electromobility and the use of CNG-powered trucks. The winner in the "Startups" category was Cargonexx GmbH. It is the first company in the transport industry to use self-learning algorithms to predict spot market prices and cargo flows. Smart data and artificial intelligence are used to reduce empty runs and lower transaction costs. mm
