BTK welcomes two new warehouse customers

Logistics service provider BTK Befrachtungs- und Transportkontor GmbH has expanded its contract logistics division at team leader level and acquired two new customers. Dynamic, a Turkish wholesaler of automotive parts and accessories, and the Danish linear drive manufacturer Linak have placed their trust in the Rosenheim-based company.

BTK currently supports around 20 warehouse customers in its two logistics halls with around 11,000 m² not far from the Inntal highway junction in Upper Bavaria. Now the range of services from incoming goods to outgoing goods has won over two more customers with customized picking, semi-automated packaging and efficient shipping processes.

Since June 1, BTK has been delivering spare parts to garages throughout Germany for Munich-based Dynamic Automotive Europe GmbH. The logistics operation comprises around 3,500 different items. They are picked on an individual item basis for daily postal dispatch. In addition, the Danish Linak Group, one of the world's leading developers and manufacturers of electric linear drive systems, is now one of BTK's customers. On behalf of the branch in Nidda, Hesse, system parts and components are stored on 100 pallet spaces for southern German customers in the Raubling logistics center. The goods are picked on call into specifically labeled boxes and delivered twice a week.

"In addition to our established transport logistics, we have been consistently expanding our customized contract logistics for several years. We want to support companies regionally and nationwide in their logistics. That's why we are particularly pleased about these two contracts and exciting tasks," says BTK Managing Director Josef Heiß.

For future growth, BTK has expanded its second management level in contract logistics with a focus on customers, processes and systems. Daniel Wirkner, who has been with BTK for ten years, uses his sales experience as an interface to the customer to manage all projects, including IT. Raphaela Zikmund manages the operational processes in order picking. And Silviu Nemet is responsible for the infrastructure, from the systems to the forklift fleet. They all report to Logistics Manager Peter Berger, who coordinates the entire contract logistics division, which covers a total of 19,000 m² of own and rented logistics space in the Rosenheim area.
