The trainees are spread across 27 branches in Germany, where they are trained in nine different professions. Hellmann offers all trainees a permanent position once they have successfully completed their training. With a retention rate of around 90 percent, the company claims to be one of the industry leaders.

"The fact that so many young colleagues have opted for an apprenticeship at Hellmann certainly speaks for our company. But it is also a very clear sign that the logistics industry as a whole is perceived as an innovative and future-oriented working environment," emphasizes Claudio Gerring, Head of Global HR, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.

"As a family-owned company, Hellmann has long recognized how important young talent is for the long-term success of our company. Whether male, female or diverse, regardless of age and origin - but also regardless of school-leaving qualifications: Hellmann stands for equal opportunities," Gerring continues.
