166 new trainees at Rhenus

166 young people are now starting their careers at Rhenus. Rhenus training officer Sophia Doukas and the training officers from two other Rhenus companies welcomed 16 new trainees at the company's headquarters in Holzwickede on August 4 while observing all the hygiene and distancing regulations.

In view of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subdued economic forecasts, many companies have scaled back their training capacities. Not so the Rhenus Group: the family-run company is once again offering 166 young trainees the opportunity to start their training at one of Germany's largest logistics service providers this year. This means that a total of around 750 trainees are working for Rhenus.

We're not just fulfilling our responsibility as a company that provides training: our trainees are an important pillar within Rhenus and it's impossible to imagine life without them. Even in challenging times, we therefore continue to rely on committed newcomers who receive excellent training with us," emphasizes Egbert Bernsmeister, a member of the Rhenus Management Board.
This is also confirmed by Yannik Renn, dual student for Business Administration. "I felt that I was in very good hands right from the start and I can only advise anyone to complete an apprenticeship at Rhenus. You receive intensive support here from day one - and the work is great fun!"
