Easy to fit guide rollers for more hygiene
In the food and packaging industry, users are increasingly turning to hygienic plastic solutions. For film and label deflection rollers, igus has developed complete solutions consisting of various tube materials and polymer ball bearings with flanges.
The lightweight systems are now available with a closed side. In addition, the assembly of the rollers is significantly simplified. Under the xiros brand, igus offers maintenance-free and, above all, lubricant-free polymer ball bearings. These bearings are particularly advantageous in the packaging and food industries, as there is no risk of contamination due to escaping lubricants. Another new addition to the range is a ready-made system solution consisting of an aluminum, PVC or carbon tube and two flanged ball bearings made of xirodur materials with stainless steel balls.
