Toyota introduces the new BT Reflex series
The BT Reflex is equipped with Toyota's own battery system with lithium-ion technology as the preferred energy solution. Quick and easy intermediate charging eliminates the need for battery changes, so no cargo space is required. Like all lithium-ion based energy systems, the Toyota battery system is maintenance-free and requires no daily care. This results in a longer battery life that matches the life cycle of the truck. The range depends on intermediate charging during work breaks. With good charging disciplines, the trucks can be used around the clock even with the smallest battery capacity. However, for maximum flexibility, Toyota offers three different options for light, medium and intensive use.
Intuitive and interactive driving experience
The redesigned driver's cab of the BT Reflex has been equipped with further ergonomic details to raise the driver's experience and thus also safety and performance to a new level. The optimizations include a new steering unit with palm rest for an optimal driving experience. In addition, driver comfort can be further enhanced with an optional air-sprung seat. The new touchscreen and a new main control console on the right-hand side enable easy interaction between the device and the driver. The touchscreen makes it easier to read important information and directly access programmable functions.
All Toyota reach trucks are networked smart trucks that are equipped with integrated telematics hardware ex works. This allows them to be easily connected to the I_Site fleet management system. This enables the operators of industrial trucks to collect and analyze important data in order to increase safety and capacity utilization as well as to achieve cost savings. Various I_Site functions can be used in the new BT Reflex to increase safety: Smart Access allows only authorized employees to start the device. The pre-operational check ensures that employees carry out predefined test steps before starting up the industrial truck.
