Easy to maneuver
New extra-slim pedestrian pallet trucks from Linde Material Handling
The Linde T20 FP and Linde T25 FP low lift pallet trucks (load capacity 2.0 and 2.5 tons respectively) and the Linde D10 FP double-deck loader (load capacity 1.0 ton) are narrower than a Euro pallet - and aim to score points with "robustness, user-friendliness and many optional comfort and safety features".
The chassis, which is only 720 millimetres wide, helps above all with the exact positioning of the goods. Because the appliances are narrower than the Euro pallets being transported, damage to the truck transport walls can be prevented, which would otherwise occur time and again when maneuvering on the loading area. The reduced vehicle width also has a positive effect when maneuvering quickly in incoming and outgoing goods areas or on narrow routes. The Linde D10 FP double-deck loader can handle 1,000 kilograms in double-deck mode - alternatively 2,000 kilograms on the initial lift or 1,200 kilograms on the main lift.
All three new models have a fixed operator's platform. The operator enters via the rear; two grab handles on the right and left and the driver's platform, which is only 200 millimetres high, make access easier. The operator's platform is 538 millimetres wide and optionally decoupled from the chassis to absorb shocks caused by uneven ground. The ergonomically shaped handlebar has smooth-running control levers on both sides so that all driving and lifting functions can be operated with one hand.
Thanks to the visibility-optimized design of the low lift pallet truck, the operator has an unobstructed view of the track and load. Electromagnetic, electric and hydraulic systems ensure adapted braking behavior, depending on the load weight, among other things. For safety reasons, the entire floor mat is designed as a dead man's switch.
The chassis consists of two steel aprons that reach just above the ground, protecting the driver and absorbing minor bumps. Together with the inwardly positioned grab handles and the centrally positioned handlebars, they ensure that the operator's shoulders, arms and hands remain within the protective contours of the vehicle. Other - partly optional - safety features include Linde Curve Control (curve-dependent travel speed), Linde Speed Management (travel speed adjustment depending on the load on the free lift) and Linde BlueSpot (blue LED light with warning function).
The three-phase motor with an output of 2.3 or 3 kW enables the low-platform trucks to travel at speeds of up to 14 km/h and the double-deck loader at 10 km/h. This opens up potential, especially on longer journeys. However, the maximum speed of the low lift pallet trucks can be set to 8, 10, 12 or 14 km/h on request so that they can be adjusted to suit the specific application. The trucks also have plenty of power on the ramp: depending on the model, they can climb up to 13 percent with a load and up to 20 percent without a load.
