Dual distribution channel to be further expanded
Toyota Material Handling acquires stake in dealer
Toyota Material Handling Deutschland and Löffler Gabelstapler Verkauf und Service GmbH consolidate their cooperation through a minority shareholding. After more than 35 years of cooperation, Toyota Material Handling Deutschland GmbH is acquiring a minority stake in its dealer, Löffler Gabelstapler Verkauf und Service GmbH.
"We are very pleased about Toyota Material Handling's participation. This reflects the great trust in our family-run company," says Roland Löffler, Managing Director of Löffler Gabelstapler Verkauf und Service GmbH. "Toyota's investment gives us a great deal of planning security in order to make our company fit for the future for our customers and their intralogistics with forklift expertise," adds Markus Löffler, Managing Director and Sales Manager.
The company from the Upper Palatinate employs a total of around 110 people. Both at the headquarters in Obertraubling near Regensburg and the branch in Nuremberg, the team advises its customers in all areas of forklift fleet management. Löffler has also been working in association with Dresdner Gabelstapler Verkauf und Service GmbH since 1990. With long-term investments of this kind, Toyota aims to secure sales channels for its current and future authorized dealers.
"With this third investment in our Toyota dealerships, I am very pleased to be able to further expand the long-term safeguarding of Löffler Gabelstapler's corporate development and Toyota's sales success. It is a clear commitment to dual sales and thus to joint market penetration in Germany. This close, trusting cooperation is an important part of Toyota MH's long-term market strategy," explains Jan Lorenz, Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Deutschland GmbH.
