Toyota Material Handling: Martina Möller responsible for new business unit

The expansion of automation, digitalization and productivity solutions in intralogistics is one of the strategic challenges for the coming years. Toyota Material Handling Germany is underlining the importance of this topic by changing its organizational structure and appointing Martina Möller to the management board: Möller will head the new "Strategic Customers, Logistics Solutions and Digitalization" division from the beginning of April.

"The use of innovative logistics and racking systems as well as automated and digitalized solutions and services from a single source opens up unique perspectives for our customers for the transport of their goods and information through the supply chain," says Jan Lorenz, Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Germany. The company is therefore making changes to its organizational structure and management. The current Key Account and Logistics Solutions divisions will be combined under one roof to form the new "Strategic Customers, Logistics Solutions and Digitalization" division. With effect from April 1, Martina Möller will take over as the new member of the Executive Board. "I am very much looking forward to this new, challenging role at Toyota Material Handling. Even though we find ourselves in unusual times, it is important to look ahead and set the course for a successful future for us and our customers right now," says Martina Möller.

Martina Möller was previously Managing Director of Jungheinrich Danmark A/S for five years. Her focus was on profitable growth, change management and organizational development as well as direct sales of intralogistics solutions and automation concepts. Möller began her career in 2003 as a corporate finance trainee at Jungheinrich AG. She subsequently held management positions at Jungheinrich AG for over 13 years, including Director International Key Account.

The creation of the new department also means further changes in the management of Toyota Material Handling: Mats Lindel takes over the position of Director Business Development at TMH Logistics Solutions at the European headquarters in Sweden. Günter Simonis, who has been Head of Key Accounts for many years, will in future head up the Rental & Used division and use his wealth of experience to further expand this department. Brigitte Käseberg, who has been developing the Rental & Used division on an interim basis since October 2019, will now return to her management role at Toyota Stapler Center West as planned.
