Air-Cargo from a single source

Together: Dimos and Hubtex offer complete systems

The two special vehicle specialists from Eastern Hesse have been working together in the field of air cargo since 2017 - now also as a provider of complete system solutions.

"With Projects & Systems, we are establishing a department that focuses purely on the acquisition and processing of intelligent system solutions in the airport sector. It combines consulting, sales, design, production, delivery, commissioning and maintenance under one roof. This enables us to act independently of other system suppliers and to use our expertise as a system provider in every step of the process," says Pascal Schütz, Sales Manager at Dimos Maschinenbau. Before Dimos set up the Projects & Systems department together with its partner HUBTEX, the Petersberg-based manufacturer of (special) industrial trucks sold individual products to its customers via other system providers. Large-scale projects were not possible within this framework. Positioning itself as a system provider now enables Dimos to meet the rapidly increasing number of orders.

The machine manufacturer's customers also benefit from the new department. They now only work with one expert who coordinates all interfaces. In addition to individual product solutions, users will in future receive end-to-end support during and after the implementation process. This is where Dimos and Hubtex combine their many years of expertise.

Because as standardized as the processes in the air cargo sector are, users must remain flexible. The solutions should be designed for peaks, for example. With Dimos products, especially the multifunctional X-Way Mover, customers can manage their capacities according to utilization. In addition, customers are not tied to a specific location with the vehicle and can change their location at any time.

Flexible system instead of conventional air cargo technology

The integration of new vehicles into an existing warehouse often involves retrofitting the racking systems. In contrast to this conventional air cargo technology, Dimos and its partner Hubtex make changes to the vehicles and adapt them to the conditions on site. This allows high tonnages to be handled despite a small storage area. "We focus on flexibility. The customer should have a perspective with the help of our system solutions. In intensive consultations, we therefore show them all the options that are possible for them and their setup and remain at their side as a competent partner until the end and beyond," summarizes Michael Röbig, Head of Marketing at Hubtex.
