Lorenz becomes Managing Director of Toyota Material Handling Germany
Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) appoints Jan Lorenz as the new Managing Director for the German sales organization, Toyota Material Handling Deutschland.
"We are delighted to welcome Jan Lorenz to the Toyota family," says Matthias Fischer, President and CEO of Toyota Material Handling Europe. Lorenz can look back on an international career at Jungheinrich: He held management positions in the US market for several years. There he was responsible for building a broad dealer network and subsequently took over the management of the direct sales organization before returning to Germany as Vice President Regional Sales & Marketing. Most recently, he had been working in the UK since 2014, where he drove rapid and profitable growth as Managing Director.
"Mr. Lorenz has a proven track record of leading and strategically realigning companies, generating profitable sales and market share growth in a competitive market. He is ideally suited to drive forward the ambitious growth plans of our German organization," emphasizes Matthias Fischer. Jan Lorenz succeeds Norman Memminger, who was appointed Senior Vice President for Toyota Material Handling Europe's important Rental & Used business, in the position on October 1st.
