Logistics Hall of Fame Council meets in Berlin
The finalists for induction into the World Logistics Hall of Fame have been announced. The Logistics Hall of Fame Council nominated ten personalities for induction on Monday at the VW Group Representative Office in Berlin's Lindencorso. Four candidates reached the final for the "Traton Logistics Leader of the Year" award.
In the run-up to the ceremony, 22 valid nominations were received from Germany, Europe and around the world. The lists of candidates for both awards are traditionally secret and are not published
In order to be inducted into the Logistic Hall of Fame, it is crucial that an achievement has advanced logistics beyond the boundaries of their own company. To date, 35 men and women have been inducted into the world hall of fame. The "Traton Logistics Leader of the Year" honors those who set the pace and shape the future of the logistics industry. The focus is on topicality and the benefits for their own company as well as innovative strength, sustainability and entrepreneurial change. The prize is awarded by the Logistics Hall of Fame and sponsored by Traton SE.
