New driver's platform
Linde presents all-rounder for one tonne payload
It is versatile, moves goods weighing up to one ton and fits into a freight elevator: the new Linde E10 driver's platform truck. With this vehicle, Linde Material Handling is adding a flexible device with numerous comfort and safety functions to its range.
In almost every industry, there are transport tasks for which a particularly narrow, short and at the same time lightweight industrial truck is required, so that it also fits into freight elevators, for example. The new Linde E10 with a load capacity of one ton and a choice of lead-acid or lithium-ion battery is such an all-rounder for everyday logistics. Only a little wider than a Euro pallet, it can get into even the narrowest aisles and maneuver in the tightest of spaces with a turning radius of just 1,317 millimetres.
As the device is designed for short journeys, there is no seat but a padded backrest. The driver can get into the vehicle from either side, for which he hardly needs to lift his feet. The standard equipment includes a system for automatic speed reduction in bends or in the area of the mast free lift as well as the dead man's switch integrated into the floor mat: the vehicle only moves when the operator is standing within the vehicle contour.
The equipment of the driver's cab is practical without compromising on comfort. Optimally arranged controls as well as narrow overhead guard struts and mast profiles ensure maximum freedom of movement and the best possible view of the load and surroundings. The vibration-decoupled control stand keeps shocks away from the driver. If the machine is frequently driven in reverse, it can be equipped with a double set of operating levers and grab handles. The operator's right arm then also rests on a wide backrest.
