Jungheinrich acquires majority stake in ISI Automation

Jungheinrich acquires ISI Automation GmbH & Co KG from Lemgo in East Westphalia. The specialist for turnkey automation solutions thus becomes part of one of the leading intralogistics solution providers.

Dr Rosenbach, Member of the Board of Management for Logistics Systems at Jungheinrich, explains: "We will strengthen ISI Automation and the Lemgo and Extertal sites and have the clear goal of further expanding business with all existing and future customers in this important area of digitalization." ISI's product portfolio is to be expanded in the area between ERP and store floor with the ISIPlus and ISIPro products. The previous Managing Directors of ISI Automation, Frank Marek and Volker Sasse, will continue to manage the company under the new Jungheinrich majority ownership. "In a market of opportunities in the international competitive environment, this investment is a significant step for the strategic development of ISI Automation at the location in East Westphalia/Lippe," says Frank Marek.
