Hasan Dandashly is the Executive Board member responsible for the Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) segment, which comprises Dematic's global business. He has been President & CEO of the KION subsidiary Dematic since 2018.

Andreas Krinninger has been appointed to the Executive Board with responsibility for the EMEA business of the Industrial Trucks and Services (ITS) segment. It comprises the operating businesses of the KION brands Linde Material Handling, STILL and Baoli in the EMEA region. Andreas Krinninger has been President & CEO Linde Material Handling EMEA since 2016 and was previously Managing Director Finance and Managing Director Operations at Linde Material Handling.

Ching Pong Quek will remain on the Executive Board of the KION Group with responsibility for the business of the Industrial Trucks and Services (ITS) segment in the APAC and Americas regions. Anke Groth remains CFO and Labor Director. Gordon Riske remains Chairman of the Executive Board.

"The consistent anchoring of direct responsibility for the operating business in the Executive Board is a strong organizational basis for the future global growth of the KION Group," says Michael Macht, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. "The expansion of the Executive Board reflects the rapidly increasing importance of our fast-growing Supply Chain Solutions segment. At the same time, we are creating the conditions for an even more concise positioning of our ITS brands Linde Material Handling, STILL and Baoli in the markets of the EMEA region."

The Supervisory Board of the KION Group has also made another decision to ensure continuity in the CTO position on the Executive Board: Henry Puhl (50), President & CEO STILL EMEA since 2016, has been appointed as a member of the Executive Board and successor to Prof. Dr. Eike Böhm as of July 1, 2021. Eike Böhm will retire on June 30, 2021; he has built up the CTO department during his six years with the Group.

"We started out in 2006 with medium-sized structures and revenue of three billion euros. Today, the KION Group is a global corporation with a broad portfolio of products and services in more than 100 countries and generated revenue of almost nine billion euros in 2019 - almost three times as much as when we started 14 years ago," says Gordon Riske, Chief Executive Officer of KION GROUP AG. "We have outgrown our previous structure. At the same time, our opportunities have never been as diverse as they are today," explains Riske, referring to the current market dynamics and the rapid technological progress that is significantly changing the intralogistics industry. "We want to take this positive development into account. By anchoring the Operating Units directly in the Executive Board, we will be able to utilize our technological capabilities and resources as well as our global sales and service units even more efficiently in the future. The aim of our 'KION 2027' strategy is to further expand our strong competitive position," explains the CEO. "The Supervisory Board has laid important foundations for this."
