Downtime means loss of profit and loss of reputation. The "European Service Days" will therefore focus on the topic of prevention through regular maintenance. The kick-off event will take place on November 27.
The event, initiated by Dematic, is intended to promote cross-industry exchange. "The right service is the linchpin of a successful warehouse operation. For this reason, we attach great importance to it," emphasizes Jessica Heinz, Head of Marketing at Dematic. For the kick-off event, the company is inviting interested parties to the sportswear specialist Mammut Sports in Wolfertschwenden on November 27. The event will feature expert presentations and best-practice examples on how regular maintenance and servicing can prevent downtime and the impact of technical innovations. The importance of software solutions that make maintenance and servicing work easier and which training options could be useful for employees will also be discussed.
The "European Service Days" will continue in other European countries, including Belgium, France, Spain and Italy. The program on 27 November also includes a tour of the Mammut warehouse, where various Dematic automation solutions are also used.
