Knapp: Migros Zurich commissions FAST Picking solution
Following the successful implementation of the first FAST Picking system solution for the fully automated handling of the fruit and vegetable range, the Migros Cooperative Zurich decided to continue its collaboration with Knapp. With the new system, fresh items are picked fully automatically. The articles are delivered in Migros containers and folding boxes from external service providers. Handling the containers would be an enormous physical burden for the employees if they were picked manually. The core components are fully automatic depalletizing and palletizing machines as well as the OSR Shuttle storage system.
