AMI takes positive stock of Fachpack
Fachpack is one of Europe's leading trade fairs for packaging, technology and processes. AMI Förder- und Lagertechnik GmbH therefore regularly exhibits its innovations in Nuremberg and was there this year with an 11-strong trade fair team.
"The Packaging Professionals trade fair offers the ideal platform to present our diverse and customizable conveyor systems - from individual components to complex conveyor lines - to a highly specialized audience," says Olaf Zurheide (Managing Director Sales), explaining AMI's objective at the trade fair. With a complete conveyor line, the company presented its various roller and belt conveyor systems, its mobile dynamic goods storage system and a driven scissor roller conveyor. The system was controlled via the company's own WLS (Warehouse Logistics System) software, which can be described as an internal merchandise management program and ensures an ideal material flow.
Labelers and a collaborative robot in the system were also intended to demonstrate the depth to which AMI is able to implement the customer's requirements. "We will use various examples to show how AMI can contribute to an optimized, efficient flow of goods and make it clear that our systems can be tailored extremely flexibly to the packaging requirements of a wide range of customers," Zurheide continues. "Many of the discussions in Nuremberg were correspondingly specific and detailed, as the guests' questions really went into the depths of the technical requirements," says the AMI Managing Director happily.
