Vanderlande launches Homepick on the market
As part of the next generation of scalable solutions (Evolutions), Vanderlande is launching Homepick. Homepick enables the fast and efficient processing of online grocery orders. This solution integrates the company's systems, software and life-cycle services to provide a concept to support grocery retail activities.
Essentially, Homepick is based on a goods-to-person picking solution that uses ADAPTO, Vanderlande's unique automated storage/retrieval system (AS/RS) with 3D shuttle technology. This is the ideal solution for grocery retailers looking to achieve cost benefits through centralized fulfillment centers (CFC).
Thanks to Adapto and the modular workstations, Homepick is also future-proof due to its scalability. The sequenced order flows ensure the correct order per delivery route and maximum delivery performance, resulting in time and cost savings.
