The Soft Gripper even grips foam kisses with ease. It is certified for handling food in accordance with EU Regulation EC 1935/2004. Thanks to variable silicone attachments, it can securely grip differently shaped objects weighing up to 2.2 kilograms without damaging them. This makes it suitable for pick-and-place tasks in the beverage, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, for example, and can also be used in packaging and production environments.

The Soft Gripper has three interchangeable silicone attachments, two of which are star-shaped and one with a four-finger configuration. These give it the necessary flexibility to grip irregularly shaped objects such as eggs, fruit or bottles. The gripper can also easily pick up delicate objects such as light bulbs or cookies with its soft attachments. In combination with its EC certification, it is suitable for pick-and-place tasks in the food and beverage industry.

Simple integration thanks to One System Solution
The Soft Gripper does not require an external air supply, which reduces operating costs. It is also characterized by particularly easy integration, according to the manufacturer. "Unlike comparable solutions, the Soft Gripper can be easily combined with the robot arms of all leading manufacturers," explains Krog Iversen. "This is primarily thanks to our One System Solution."

This standardized electrical and mechanical interface extends the compatibility of OnRobot tools. In addition to industry giants such as Kuka, Fanuc and Univeral Robots, the One System Solution now also enables deep compatibility with robots from Hanwha Precision Machinery and ABB.
