Savoye becomes global partner and integrator of HAI Robotics
System integrator Savoye becomes partner and integrator of HAI Robotics, a manufacturer of autonomous case handling robots (ACR) for picking, storage and shipping.
The agreement concluded between the two companies applies worldwide and enables Savoye to offer this solution in Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia.
"By partnering with HAI Robotics, we can ideally complement our own portfolio of solutions for goods-to-person picking. Indeed, our X-PTS technology is particularly suited to meet high-speed requirements and large volumes of orders to be processed. And the Haipick solution, which is based on HAI Robotics robots, is perfect for smaller operations," explains Laurent Bollereau, Strategy and Solutions Engineering Director.
The Haipick system uses autonomous picking robots that can pick and store cartons or totes in storage racks up to five to seven meters high and transport up to 8 loads to continuously feed the goods-to-person picking stations. The solution also works in cold environments down to -10 °C.
"The Haipick solution offered by Savoye combines HAI Robotics' mobile robots with our in-house technologies: the X-PTS goods-to-person picking station, the put-to-light racks equipped with LED strips, the Intelis conveyor modules, as well as our WMS and WES control software. This solution can be delivered as a stand-alone solution or as part of a more comprehensive system by combining multiple picking processes or running them in parallel. This is also the added value of working with a partner like Savoye," continues Laurent Bollereau.
