SWF Krantechnik: Electric wire rope hoist Nova2 rope
With the Nova2 rope electric wire rope hoist, SWF Krantechnik presents the next generation of electric wire rope hoists. This new series sets the course for a comprehensive redesign of the classic wire rope hoist, based on new materials, advanced design and function-optimized components.
Other important topics that have been incorporated into product development include user-friendliness, sustainability, digitalization, monitoring, control, service and maintenance. As an alternative to conventional steel load ropes, Nova2 rope can be equipped with a high-strength synthetic load rope consisting of a fiber structure based on polyethylene. This is 90 percent lighter than the steel rope version and requires no lubrication.
In addition, the synthetic load rope eliminates the risk of injury and causes no wear on the rope drum, rope guide and deflection pulleys. Thanks to the identical groove and drum geometry, the user also has the option of switching to a classic steel wire rope.
