Interroll receives major order for German supermarket chain
The order comprises the delivery of more than nine kilometers of Interroll Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP), including a record number of EC 5000 RollerDrive units for a new-build project in Germany.
The conveyor lines, which mainly consist of the Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP) and are equipped with the 24-volt EC 5000 RollerDrive including MultiControl, will be installed at a new location of the end customer in Germany. In addition, so-called High Performance Diverts and belt curves as well as belt conveyors will be part of the overall material flow system, which is being planned for the end customer by a leading system integrator that is not named in the press release.
With a length of more than 9 kilometers, the project represents Interroll's longest conveyor platform installed at a single site in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and includes the largest number of the new and innovative EC 5000 RollerDrive units of any Interroll installation worldwide to date. The order has a high single-digit volume in millions of euros, reports Interroll. First deliveries are planned for November 2021, final deliveries are expected by the end of March 2022.
