In response to the shortage of labor in the logistics industry, the system makes physically demanding, repetitive work easier. "Copal Handling Systems offers a highly sought-after automation solution for unloading sea containers, whose loads are manually optimized in many countries, especially in Asia. In Europe, unloading is a challenge. This 3D vision solution, combined with sensors and an automatic plug-in mechanism, automates the unloading of incoming goods," explains Xavier Derycke, Director of Supply Chain at the Rexel Group. Copal's system enables fully automated unloading, so the inbound process can be automated. The machines are equipped with scanning software, 3D vision technology, laser sensors and cameras that recognize the entire process at a glance.
