Automated interface between incoming goods and warehouse
Fördertechnik und Anlagenbau GmbH (FAB) is presenting a complete system for automated loading and unloading of trucks - an automation solution for the interface between incoming goods and the high-bay warehouse.
Through intelligent control of the integrated chain conveyors and lifting roller conveyors, the conveyor technology components take on a central function as an automated pallet separating device. Once the truck has docked at the rear, the automated unloading process is set in motion. The rows of pallets are transferred from the loading area to a support profile conveyor. It conveys the load carriers to the separating device. During transportation, the front edge of the front pair of pallets is detected by sensors, the freewheeling device is activated and a gap to the following pallets is generated. Both pallets of the treated pallet pair are then also separated and fed to the storage area.
