New branch
Söhner Kunststofftechnik expands in Great Britain
Söhner Kunststofftechnik opened a new sales office in Stansted, UK, at the beginning of the year. The packaging specialist can now offer its British customers local advice and support.
Despite the uncertainties caused by Brexit, Söhner Kunststofftechnik is strengthening its sales activities in the UK. James Mead, formerly of Sealed Air Corporation and Ampac Packaging, has taken over the management of the new branch. "The British market is very important to us. James Mead knows the packaging industry as well as the market and the companies," says Dr. Theo Doll, Managing Partner of Söhner Kunststofftechnik GmbH, summarizing this decision.
Faster delivery times thanks to local stocks
The company wants to build up its own stock in the UK in the long term. "This will allow our customers to benefit from fast and efficient order and delivery processing with consistently high quality," says James Mead.
Further activities in France, Italy and Scandinavia
The company is also expanding its sales activities in France. In future, Patrick Le Solleu will be responsible for the French market for Söhner. "With his knowledge and professional experience in technical sales, Patrick Le Solleu is an ideal addition to our team," emphasizes Dr. Theo Doll. "I am delighted that he is actively supporting us and that we can provide our French customers with the best possible support," continues Dr. Doll. In addition to the newly created structures in the UK and France, the company has also entered into further cooperation agreements with Antalis Packaging Italia s.r.l and Wellplast AB from Sweden for the distribution of the "MegaPack" large load carrier series.
