Geis Group takes over Müller + Partner
The Geis Group is expanding its Air + Sea Services division with the acquisition of Müller + Partner. In December, the logistics service provider takes over Müller + Partner GmbH with its air and sea freight division in Germany.
Müller + Partner is active in the air and sea freight sector at its headquarters in Fulda as well as in Berlin, Dortmund and Frankfurt with around 120 employees. All locations with all employees will be taken over by Geis Air + Sea GmbH. The contract logistics division of M + P will not be integrated; the managing partner of M + P, Ortwin Schmidt, will focus his activities on this division in future.
"With this acquisition, we are massively strengthening our Air + Sea Services division and expanding our range of services," explain Managing Partners Hans-Georg Geis and Wolfgang Geis. "What is even more important is that we will achieve reliable capacities and optimized rates for the carriers with the additional volumes. Ultimately, this also benefits our customers."
